If they're drinking anyways at any age, why make stupid laws that don't work?

I've always said that if you're old enough to serve and old enough to vote then you're old enough to drink. How can you ask a guy to shoot the Taliban during the day and not offer him a beer when he gets home to unwind?
I fully agree with you! This is one issue I found very strange while I was stationed at Ft.Bliss. Once we went to L.A. and when we arrived we ordered a meal and a beer at Pizza Hut. Then the young chick wanted to see my ID. I didn´t got a beer because I was just twenty. Hey, I was a SGT and I didn´t got a damned beer.
My comrades almost died of laughing.
I for myself found an other issue more important. I don´t know how it is now but while I was in ElPaso ( late seventies)I watched TV and saw violence and killings all day long on TV. Children and juveniles could see at least one dozen murders every day just for entertainment. That´s more dangerous for them.

drinking at the age 18 would be harder for parents to control them & it would be a raise in dui accidents.. 21 is fine.

Especially for the mexicants like you who already have trouble controling your kids, keeping them out of jail or keeping them from getting pregnant before they get out of high school.

Because, the only people who see what is wrong with the drinking age of 21, is under 21... get over it! By the time you legally drink, you won't want to drink as much anyway... duh

The legal drinking age should be 40, I notice that anyone under that age and under the influence of alcohol act's stupid or pendejo which is the same thing. 40 years should be the drinking age limit, and fifty to buy cigarettes.

wake up and teach, learn the law. In 1930 bootlegging was dropped ,booze was allowed and today DWI is a daily issue. You need to get reading 101 again, and get your ass back in class!!!!! get the El Paso Times and read it suck head!! Kids are killed daily, families are crumbled, devestaded--comprende!!!. The government did not know what they "billed". Now the government is walking backwords and starting new amendments to these so called laws. Wake up and get to class, your late buddy!!!

After thinking about it they should lower the drinking age to 12. And while they're at it drop all charges against the Principle at Fannin and the Dance Teacher at Irvin.

Heck me and Alot of other Teachers in the EPISD have our students over to our homes to drink, smoke, do a few lines and do the nasty.

I say start them young

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Virgo

You're feeling restless and need to introduce as much variety into your day as possible. However, you'll want this to be on your own terms, and you certainly won't like it if plans are changed without your consent or you feel you've lost control of the situation. Try to take everything in your stride, otherwise you'll end up feeling exhausted and frazzled.
