At age 18 one becomes an adult in the eyes of the law and social system. They have to show responsibility.
Age 18 allows one to vote, buy firearms(rifles), buy porn, enlist in military, and buy tobacco. One should absolutely be aloud to buy alcohol.

How you going to try and change a federal law just because a bunch of teenages who haven't even learned how to live outside mommy and daddy's can drink right when they think they are an adult, 21 is a good age least they will have some brains to think a little better. And people wonder why teenages are having babies so soon.

For many people drinking loses it's "charm" when they are actually allowed to drink. There will always be people who can not keep "measure" when it comes to alcohol (or other things). Everyone is responsible however for there own actions / behavior.

I agree with the fact that drinking looses it's interest when it's legal. The sooner you get the drinking out of your system the sooner you can get on with your life. At least that's what happened with me.

What people don't seem to get is that kids under 21 will find a way to get alcohol. This to me is more concerning because it's not in a controlled situation. They sneak around with it not realizing the consequences. It's lack of education of alcohols effects. When I was under 21 I could get booze anytime I wanted it. The fact that I wasn't supposed to have it made me drink it faster, want to get rid of the evidence and made me have poor judgements. I agree with Mjslastdance. Tobacco, porn, military service and firearms can be just as bad especially without proper education. Tobacco kills. Guns kill. Alcohol kills. It all depends who and how it's used.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Taurus

You have a very high opinion of someone today. In fact, you're really impressed with them and you'll probably sing their praises to anyone who'll listen. If you meet someone for the first time now, you'll be very impressed and this will never change throughout your relationship. But try not to idealize them into something they're not.
