I dont think the legal drinking age should change, its not gonna do anything but raise insurance rates and put booze into the hands of people not mature enough to be responsible with it. if anything they should raise the legal drinking age

Most people are not mature enough to understand the negative part of drinking.

Well, for one, your brain isn't devolped completly until you are 20 years old. Kids are going to drink either way but by allowing the idiots to drink at 18 will cause some issues. Nasty hoes(:

I think in most cases people mature a lot during those 3 years from 18 to 21, so they'd be less likely to take unnecessary risks. Alcohol is nothing like weed, and can be very dangerous. I think that instead, they should raise the age for enlistment to 21. 18 year olds are impressionable and have no real experience out in the real world. Most 18 year olds who enlist have no idea what they are in for, they just hear the sugar coated promises of paid off student loans and good careers. I'm not saying the military can't help you get a good career or pay off your student loans, but I think the advertisements should also describe in thorough detail the psychological and physical torture they put you through in basic training. In conclusion, yes, the drinking age should be 21.

You can fight in a war you can drink alcohol. Im pretty sure there's a greater risk from being in a war than there is drinking.
