If you can take a bullet for your country and vote you should be able to have a beer.

In my opinion, if you serve our country you should be able to drink at 18. My reason for this is, I agree if you are willing to take a bullet and fight for county you deserve that right, and they are usually more responsible.... but, if you are NOT serving in the military the legal age should remain at 21, by then "most" have somewhat the knowledge of knowing right from wrong and what could happen to them or others when they drink and drive or showout in public. As a mother, i do think at 18 a parent should be able to supervise their own kids at home to monitor behavior and provide a safe place where you can see how they will react. Some people may or may not agree with me but, being a mother I do not want my child to drink but at 18 he will leave home and make his own choices and at least i would know where he was and what he was doing and that he was safe.

I feel you should at least be 21 if you decide to drink at least you'll be a little more mature, than 18 an no strong minded as a 21 yr. old would be an some people can't handle their liquor when they drink they get out of control.
