It doesn't matter what the age is, kids still drink and drive. They'll never learn. Surprise they haven't dropped the legal drinking age, nothing's changed. Still more accidents like last night in Riga. They were of age, but admitted to drinking at a party then drove. Like I said before, put a Breathalyzer in every vehicle. Something HAS to be done.

Drinking age should still be 21 we already have enough idiots out drinking and driving and something needs to be done and that's not lowering the drinking age

YES! THAT'S IT EXACTLY! WE NEED MORE GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION INTO, AND CONTROL OF, OUR LIVES. THE POLITICIANS ARE SO INTELLIGENT AND BENEVOLENT. WE CANNOT JUDGE THE EVIL TRANSGRESSORS AND WE MUST NOT ASSIGN PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY TO THEM. THEY ARE SICK AND WE MUST PUT THEM ON SSI DISABILITY, WELFARE, FOOD STAMPS, HEAP, FREE OBAMA CELL PHONES, FREE RENTAL APARTMENTS, ETC. YOU ARE RIGHT- MORE BIG GOVERNMENT IS THE ANSWER TO EVERYTHING. WE NEED TO AMMEND AND CHANGE THE CONSTITUTION AND OUTLAW ALCOHOL. TOTAL PROHIBITION IS THE WAY TO GO! MAKE EVERY PERSON PERSON BLOW INTO A TUBE ON THEIR CAR OR IT WON'T START. NO ONE WOULD EVER BE ABLE TO CIRCUMVENT THIS BIG BROTHER PLAN. WE CAN ADD ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS TO THE COST OF EVERY NEW VEHICLE. WE CAN LEGISLATE THE RETROFITING OF ALL EXISTING AND USED VEHILES. WE CAN ESTABLISH A BUREAURACACY OF INSPECTORS AND BLOW TUBE POLICE. WE COULD EXPAND THESE LAWS TO APPLY TO ANY DEVICE WHICH REQUIRES COMMON SENSE,(plastic bags, buckets, curtain ropes, soft pillows, etc.). I'LL BET THAT YOU WOULD BE VERY GOOD AT BLOWIN IN THE TUBE DUE TO YEARS OF PRACTICE. DID YOU RIDE TO SCHOOL ON THE SMALL SHORT BUS? DID YOU GO THERE JUST TO EAT YOUR FREE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH? YOU MORON DO-GOODER, NWO USEFUL IDIOT SHEEPLE STOOGE!

Should the U.S. lower the drinking age to 18?

What the hell does it matter? Parents dont know where their kids are anyway.... too busy threading cars in tunnels under the Canal at 90 MPH. I'll bet there are a lot of parents out there right now who wish there was a tube-breath-a-lizer in their kids cars..... Hey....you drink, drive = stupid. What part of that can't people understand?

Gee Wiz...

Hell no do you want to see something bad happen? My family is going thru hell because of an 18 year old who was drinking and driving. We lost our son at the age of 17. Why because the18year old decided to not only drink and drive he was speeding and thru a culvert lost control coming out hit a tree and my son was ejected from the car. Needless to say we don't have our boy and only boy anylonger Think about it...

If there were more accidents in the age group to 30 would you recommend raising the drinking age to 30? What about 35? What about 50? When are we going to let people take personal responsibility? At what age is consent for sex? Same age it should be for drinking, drugs etc. Like I always wrote in the SUNY (Brockport) Stylus what makes one incapable at 17 years 364 days, but now capable at 18 years? And, yes. I lost a nephew to drinking while driving. He was drunk, too. So it was his mistake to ride with someone who was also drunk. Look, we, at some point, have to take care of our own selves, be responsible for our own lives. I'm truly sorry for my nephew, but life is short, and mistakes occur on a regular basis with humans. We are all fallible, but our government should not be regulating age. The parents should be teaching responsibility. Problem is, we have a bunch of teens becoming parents in many cases. People haven't even grown up and are having babies. That doesn't mean we should prohibit sex for those under 18, does it? Oh, wait, we already have laws preventing over age men having sex with teens under 18. So is another law the answer? The reason prohibition passed was because the federal government knew they couldn't regulate the use of alcohol before without a constitutional amendment. But when 1968 rolled around, they determined they could outlaw drugs without one??? Really?

Daily Horoscope for June 18

Taurus

No matter what else you're supposed to be doing today, it's a good idea to devote a little time to making sure your finances are running smoothly. You might even want to pay some bills now, rather than wait a couple of days until they're due, simply so you can make sure that you don't forget them. There should be some good news about a pay rise or perk, too.
