The Civil Union/Sane Sex Marriage debate is a distraction away from important issues facing this country today. Let the states decide whether same sex marriage is right for them and let's move on.

Google the NDAA and SOPA acts -just do it and see what comes up. Let's focus on real issues like the importance of the next election, the imploding economy and dollar, and the war being pushed in Iran that will no doubt lead to WWIII.

These radio hosts should do a show together or at least make guest appearences on each others shows. They all value truth and liberty in their own way.

With that SOPA legislation now passed we don't have a lot of time left to get informed before the net is censored. It is very obvious today that mainstream media is now pure fiction media.

"Civil Unions" do not give as many benefits as full legal marriage. There is no reason not to allow homosexual couples to marry other than bigotry. NO REASON. Not science, not sociology, not the Bible. NO SPECIAL RIGHTS FOR BIGOTS.

Gay couples deserve the same rights as everyone else.

Being able to marry a partner, regardless of what they are is an important step towards having more civil liberties, it makes sense.
Every one is entitled to their free opinion, and way of life, so why should anyone have the right to force their values on others?

Separation of Church and State means that religion, no matter what religion it is, shouldn't effect how government is run. As marriages are recognized by the government, religions shouldn't have a legal say in whether they are strictly between a man and a woman or not. Marriage is a basic right that should be afforded to all people provided that the people in question are consenting adults. Allowing gay marriage is not going to be a gateway to allowing pedophilia or bestiality, as neither of those relationships are made of two consenting adults. To sum it up, if you don't like gay marriage, don't get one.

Saying that marriage is for heterosexuals and civil unions for homosexuals is nearly equivalent to saying separate but equal. Civil unions are in no way the same as marriage, not just the name is different, which itself gives a certain harmful stigma and creates a second class, but the laws that apply to marriages only occasionally extend to civil unions. And what are the arguments against homosexuals sharing in the ability to marry? I have yet to read an appeal not mired in religious bias or with zero scientific/statistical support.

the constitution claims to protect ALL citizens not just the ones bigots who run the country choose too. our country was founded on majority rules with minority rights not my religion claims this and that so i discriminate against whomever i don't like
