has nothing to do with what age we are in. it's the difference in right an wrong. not saying you or anyone else has to agree with me. just my belief. you have yours, and i mine. i'll stick with my Bible.

Only that there's supposed to be separation of church and state. By forcing your religious views upon someone else you're bastardizing what our Founders stood for. I'm assuming that you believe that people came here to avoid religious persecution.

What about me? I was born here, my family came over on the Mayflower... yet I can't marry the one I love because of your religious beliefs? I can't marry because your religion tells me that I'm immoral, going to hell, and deserve to die? I can't marry because your god says so?

I never chose to love her, I chose to stop hating myself. I chose to stop hiding in fear, and to stop cutting myself. I prayed each night to be straight before I came to turns that I had feelings for girls-- not boys. Should I be punished and persecuted for that? No. That's why I urge you to allow me to marry.

I am a human being, and I deserve love, compassion, and respect... not eternal damnation.
