Ummm... YEAH! Drown in the swimming pool?!? That is about the damn dumbest thing I ever heard. Guilty as sin. The duct tape around the precious childs head speaks volumes. She should spend the rest of her life in prison.

Please wait...
She'll go down for it. Her defense has been a pure failure, while the prosecution has been thoroughly and effectively knocking down every effort on Baez's part to defend her.
She may not receive the death penalty, but she'll do a LOT of time for what she did.. It's already been proven without a doubt that she's a pathological liar and a thief, so now all they have to do is convict her for the murder..
The prosecution has been spot on and I think they've proven their case even though know one really knows HOW or WHERE she killed her daughter. We probably never will know.

The story altogether is sickening and disturbing. A mother who clubs and parties and waits 31 days before she reports her child missing. Eventually, and not surprising, an innocent child's lifeless body is discovered and in such a way that will probably haunt people for the rest of their lives. The judicial system has allowed every reason possible to be presented and still the trial goes on. No respect to the dead child but opportunity after opportunity for a cold hearted murderer to act her scenes and force false tears. People can whatever they want about white trash in Kentucky, but I believe the true definition belongs to Casey Anthony. The sad part of this story is that Caylee the real victim will be forgotten while books and Lifetime movies will be made for the story of Casey Anthony profitting her. She will get paid for giving her side to , The View, or until recently, Oprah. The media will get high rankings at the expence of human life. There will be no true justice on this earth but in time Casey Anthony will get exactly what she deserves.

Even more disturbing, she didn't report her child missing after 31 days. Her mother had to hunt her down at her boyfriend's house and confront her questioning about where she and Caylee had been. Her mother called the police or she would have continued with the lie until she was caught. I don't think she'll get the death penalty, but I think she'll be convicted of 1st or 2nd degree or aggravated murder. Not being able to tie her in with the DNA or figuring out how, when, or where she died leaves some reasonable doubt.

No DNA on duct tape. The tape did not touch her skin or skin cells would have been present on tape.Forensics testified to this fact. The prosecution only prove Casey is a pathological liar as well as her father. The defense should have put Casey on the stand first to testify. Casey should have told the truth about everything and the lies she told. The jury would have a better understanding about her mind than they are having to assume now. The prosecution did not prove how this child died or who killed her.Casey and her father are both liars and that was proved by both attorneys.I believe the defense was incompetent. I whole trial was like a dog and donkey show. I also believe the judge was bias towards the state. I believe she had everything to do with the death of her child but I don't think she meant to kill her. I think she went to her father afterwards for help and they both freaked out and we all know the rest of the story. When she was in jail and her mother told her that the newest was, that Caylee drown. If you look at the clip, George showed no emotion as he looked on and her mother was crying. I believe he and Casey were in it together. He sat in court with a bible. That was overkill, showing enoemous guilt! Then the affair came out, which I believed.I don't think the state proved anything. They didn't even have to prove that Casey was a liar; Casey did that herself. The state showed they could assume anything. This is my opinion....whats yours?

There wasn't any DNA which means Casey is either really lucky or smart. We already know she was smart though, look at the lies she was able to create instantly and maintain for years. The fact that there was no DNA on the tape can be explained by the conditions it was left in. Six months in extreme heat as well as being submurged in swamp water could have removed evidence. Lack of decomposition in the car can be explained by how she wrapped Caylee in a blanket and double bagged her to prevent fluids from leaking and hair from falling into the car.
I actually searched "how to make chloroform" and found how simple it would have been to do. And in doing so the only ingredient I would have had to further look up was acetone and I could have been set to make it. Though I would have liked proof that she made it, the girl is smart and she could have done it. She could have used it to knock Caylee out sometimes so she was able to go out and party since her mom wouldn't always watch her. She probably left her in her trunk and maybe she woke up screaming sometimes, hence leaving duct tape on her mouth so if she woke up nobody could hear her. Maybe one time she gave her too much chloroform. Maybe one time she covered too much of her face and she suffocated.
Whether intended or not I believe she killed her. The actions afterwards say it all. She wasn't grieving, she was relieved. She could finally live the life she wanted. In the jailhouse she called and said "Nobody cares about me. All they care about is finding Caylee." If it were an accident she would have called the police. Unless it was an accident because she had given Caylee too much chloroform or covered too much of her mouth.
I don't think George was involved. If he was I think he would have wrote it in the suicide note he left. That's where people write their final words. He didn't. He wrote questions...who killed Caylee, why did they do it... He bought a gun wanting to kill whoever did this to his granddaughter.

Regardless of how guilty everyones feels she may be, the prosecution did not have evidence that she did it. She had built in babysitters, she had no reason to kill her child. They did not prove that chloroform did it nor did they prove any thing except that she was a liar. If you were setting in court and the shoes were on your feet, you better hope that this jury would rule the same as they did here. They did not have any solid evidence. And they could not convict on assumption. They had evidence as to her lying to police and they found her guilty on those. I'm not sure that she killed her and I'm not sure that her father did not abuse her. But she did tell her father had an affair and it was true in my opinion. That woman testified to that fact. Even if some people thought that the bible carrying father was a christian and telling the truth, I don't. I have a father like that and he thinks that girls ask for what they get regardless of age. I wish they would charge him with her death for he is the one with the motive in my opinion. Just my opinion.....

nancy grace, got all this started, to premote herself and cnn news, this kind of thing happens everyday, even here in good o wayne, i do not support casey, but their was no proof whatsoever, talk show people used this because it was so popular, if you rule them out the jury had no proof. can't wait to see who she goes after next. her show got really good ratings over this. "wake up america"
