Its unfortunate how we do concetrate on justice to the offender and not the offended. Most of these offenders get the capital punishment as a result of being a cause to the offended death. How should it be ok for one to take another person's life and be defended by the so called constitution. In fact most of these killers if given another chance, they will continue to kill. Being cruel, inhuman and degrading is meant to act as a diterant to killers

Both of these arguments are non-sense. How do you justify even ONE innocent person being murdered by our officials? If ONE person dies that did not kill another human being, then you have, by default of being pro death penalty, commited murder. That is the bottom line. ONE person that is innocent, taken from their families, their wives, their children and murdered. Can you live with that on your conscience? If you can then you are no better than those who you say should be executed.

A live dog is of more use than a dead lion. Read it in the bible. Forgiveness, it's easier to say than do, especially if it's someone else's loved one who was raped, tortured, and/or murdered than if it were your own loved one. Forgiving someone doesn't mean they shouldn't have to pay the price for what they have done. I just don't see the death penalty under the law of the land as murder. I see it as a necessary part of a justifiable price to pay for committing certain types of crimes. Hopefully they will get right with God before they are put to death and make it to heaven.

I think the death penalty should be carried out quick once they are found guilty. The reason it's not well you can blame that on liberal politicians

Crime is steady going up. The prison system is a joke, thanks to liberal politicians. Justice should be served out immediately.

A 39 year old man in IN just admitted to killing and dismembering his 9 year old neighbor girl. Put part of her in his freezer and the rest of her in a near by business. You can honestly tell me you think he deserves to live after doing something like that.

Yes, he deserves to live and be put in a cell with a man named bubba for the rest of his life.

On a seperate note, do you think that someone like that is sane? Do you think he purposely could do that to his own child or any child for that matter? I couldn't imagine a sane person doing anything like that.
