democrats are the one's who want the debt ceiling raised in the first place. I don't think it should be raised at all. Therefore. I blame democrats for the debt ceiling debate.

The Republicans are basically blackmailing the president Granted he should have grown a set of balls during the lame duck session. Too late now. The Pubs are going to drag their feet like they have been doing the country will be a mess for next election Obama will be faulted when he is not to fault. If this school yard shanagans doesn't stop and washington doesn't start playing nice together. The country is doomed. Congress is so hell bent on destroying labor unions they will sacrafice the working people. Lets face it labor unions and the working force is a major backer of the democratic party. Get rid of them and the way is clear for a Republican KING

I agree. Congress should be working together. Both parties are to blame in my opinion, I am just slightly a little more disappointed in the democrats. I am not sure what will happen in the future for this country, but I really wish washington can get it together for our children. The world is hard as it is, we do not need more hardships for our children. I really don't want to blame anyone. Blaming others does not do anything except make situations worse. I just wish both parties would get it together and just make America the best place possible. If everyone would stop the politics and get down to the real issues. But either way things are going to be what they are going to be.

Our debt is planned. The strategy is managed, premeditated, and on purpose. END THE FED. SCREW THE NWO. Dont busy yourselves with the actors. You have to go for the producers whom you never see or hear on camera.

Why would anyone even in congress plan on accumulating Any debt. It makes the american people's interest rates high . I mean President Obama is the ONLY president in the history of the United States Of America that has been downgraded. I don't think that was planned. That gives him a bad rep. if you ask me. I don't think it was planned , I think it could have been prevented if congress both sides and president would have been working on this back in January. But everyone Republicans and democrats they all waited until the last minute to do anything about this debt situation.

Oh, but there IS bipartisan cooperation.

Our very own Republican congressman Stephen Fincher and Senator Corker voted right along with congressional Democrats and Barack Hussein Obama to RAISE THE DEBT CEILING by $1.5 TRILLION. Not to mention their vote with Dems for NDAA Indefinite Imprisonment of Americans Act. And their support of SOPA/PIPA Internet censorship and restrictions on protesting government officials.

We elect so-called "conservatives," and they cave to the socialists.

Bipartisan support, indeed.
