Democrats don't want to cut spending which is what created this problem with Obama's stimulus plan which NO republicans voted for. And it cost us around one $Trillion while it only made our economy worse. Clearly the fault of liberal democrats.

So when Clinton cleared our debt, he was a Republican? I don't think so.

Clinton did reduce the deficit. And he did that by reducing the military and forcing people on the welfare to get a job. If you dont remember then maybe you should study recent history more. Clinton was forced by Republicans in congress to change his ways. Otherwise we would have had "hillarycare" rather than "obamacare" and been broke back then. Some of you probably were in diapers and have no clue what happened back then. Grow up.

Clinton was forced to do this thanks to the republican majority in both houses!!! Maybe YOU should study recent history.:) You are correct about the housing mess and the terrorists. Clinton's approach was to bury his head in the sand, hoping it would go away.

2.) USA been borrowing against social security since the 70's or before.

3.) Bush II ran up the debt.

4.) Obama is unning up the debt more than ever imagined possible.

5.) Reagan ran up the debt out-spending the Soviets and making the rich richer.

But the key is, these politicians only do what is needed to get elected. This mess is your fault, you did it.
