i dont beleive in abortions but if a woman has been raped and the baby was conceived in that kind of matter then i think maybe it would be right

No its not the step. After 18 days the baby has a heart beat. So from the time you find out till the time you abort, your knowingly killing a baby. I have 3 children and its a struggle but I could not imagine my life without them. Could not even dream of having an abortion.

There are other kinds of abortions such as the abortion pill. What if the pregnant woman takes the abortion pill before 18 days? Is she still a killer if no heart is beating? What about the 12 year old girl raped by her violent meth addicted father while her mother watched? Who is capable of taking care of her while she becomes a walking incubator for the self-righteous? What about the comatose female patient in the nursing home raped by an employee? Her husband may not be as forgiving because the pro lifers made a law that demands a rapist's child grow in his wife’s belly against their will.

It's easy to make laws based on what you would do given your life's circumstances, when you never have to experience what it’s like in another person’s hell. Abortion should remain legal and decided on a case-by-case basis by the people immediately affected and not by blanket laws.

I do agree on situations being called for it. I'm just saying its not OK as a method of birth control.

I agree....BUT...why is it LEGAL to go and have a REAL LIVE HUMAN BEING chopped out of your womb and murdered because it is your body and your decision, but it is ILLEGAL for someone to take a pill that puts them in a good mood?????? People will support killing babys and say make it legal because it is my body and my choice....

The taking of an innocent life is murder.

Only two exceptions listed. Otherwise it would be murder.

What about the Morning After pill, the Abortion Pill or IUD's? Is it murder to remove a zygote from the uterus? Is a zygote a person? Is an embryo a person?
When does life begin? I have living skin cells that are reproducing themselves as I speak but it is not murder if I get sunburn and destroy a few thousand skin cells. Does life begin at conception or when the heart starts beating? Keep in mind people are legally declared dead by the lack of brain wave activity not only the beating of their heart. Some babies are born with only a primitive brain stem that permits breathing and a heartbeat,(Anencephaly) but they only exist, they are not living.

Not all issues can be an absolute yes or no. In cases of severe birth defects where the child will be in a vegetative state or it will die soon after birth, we have no right to overrule the parent’s decisions on whether or not to carry that child to full term, because of our moral convictions.

The choice should be the womans, not the mans sitting in washington.

Momma unfortunatly life is not a fairy tale. If abortion was once again made illegal, you would see an increase in infant fatalities from teenagers that didnt want the baby, but didn't have the choice to get rid of it, you would again have rich people shipping their daughters off to other countries to either get an abortion there, or to be away from the public eye until the baby could be born and delt with, and you would have a lot more unfit people saddled with babies that they never wanted to begin with.

Do you believe that if abortion was made illegal America would turn into some candy land where every baby was somehow then raised by loving couples and treated well? If so you should wake up.

Here is a thought! Teach the kids to not F**K until they are married!!!!!!!!!! If that is religious or whatever, who gives a big shit, it used to work! If people would teach thier kids some morals, we would not have this BIG of a problem. Instead, we teach them f88king whenever and whoever they want is ok, then we teach them murdering thier own child is ok too. No consequnces for any of it. But hey, I am the DEVEL, what do I know?????

Education is the answer. Tell the children the truth, instead of lying to them. I was told i would burn in hell for eternity, if i was a bad boy. All that did was make me wanna do anything bad that much more. Its cool to do whatever your told not to do as a kid. If i was told the truth, instead of lied to, i mite of turned out different. Now i got 3 different kids, from 3 different women. Ive never been pro abortion, but ive also, never been a woman. If any of my children would have been aborted, i would have fought it. But in the end, it should be the womans choice because its her body. Take religion out of the question. Then the answer is clear.

I don't even think abortion would be an issue if weren't for all the women who abuse their ability to get one. I'm pro life...but when it comes to someone being raped, suffering incest or a medical occurence that could put mom in danger..then I think it should be that individuals choice..whether I agree with it or not..which I don't. But it's the incredibly large percentage of women who are just being reckless and irresponsible and yes, selfish, that get on my nerves. I also wish that people would stop thinking that the choice begins when they become pregnant. With the exception of rape and incest of course...the rest of the women have every opportunity to...oh I don't know...ABSTAIN...double up on contraception....and if you're really against having kids...hysterectomy. Women have many many choices available to them to not become pregant. Abortioin has become a form of birth control..it is being grossly abused and the women abusing it are the very ones who have created this problem.
