I don't recall a national televised memo regarding the fact that the Divine made an appearance upon this planet and stated "I am going to run this country." In fact, our constitution clearly states that no deity will run this country. Your opinion is rooted in your own bigotry, not in any sort of factual evidence. Kindly leave the debate until you have something more substantial to provide. Maybe you should read the Constitution. I realize that you are a bigot and cannot see the facts that are right in front of you. This country was founded of Christian truth. Our laws are based on the Bible. Before signing the Constitution, they had a prayer meeting. Every public meeting was started with a prayer to ask God for his guidence in the situation. It is when the anti-American bigots starting attacking this tradition, that we started having problems.

I have read the constitution, and you seem to want to overlook the "CONGRESS SHALL MAKE NO LAW RESPECTING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF RELIGION" part.

Read the next statement. That is the problem with you liberal extremist, you want to take a very small statement out of context and claim that is what the entire document says.

If you tortured and killed an animal the way these babies are tortured and killed, you would receive a death sentence for your crime.

Many of the founding fathers were NOT CHRISTIAN. Some were atheists, some deists. But not specifically Christian. So it stands to reason that the Constitution, when it has that passage in it, means exactly what it says.

This was meant to limit the power of governemnt over the church, not to limit the power of the church. You never seem to read the part about the government not being able to limit the free exercise of religion.

You never seem to read the part about the government not being able to limit the free exercise of religion. Free exercise of ALL religion--not just yours. That also includes freedom to not exercise a religion at all. So why should non-Christians be forced to adhere to your Christian values? Especially considering Christianity is not even one of the fastest growing religions (it is actually one of the religions that is beginning to die out...gee, I wonder why). Just as a useless fact, Islam and Wicca are the two fastest-growing.
