Abortion Debate - Paragould, AR

Here is were the stupidity of fox news christians come in. They think that no matter what, the baby is planned by God. And she should be forced to have the baby eventhough it was conceievd by some sick indivdual who rapes and possibly a child molester.

Exicuting a molester is murder too. Do you support that? Do you approve Jesus being crucified also? Are these murders, plain and simple as you stated in your opinion?

Personal opinion: It's murder on an innocent human being. Executing a person who has committed horrendous acts/murder/etc is a whole different ballgame. As I lay here right now, my infant daughter is asleep on my chest. I cannot imagine life without her and don't see what kind of person can end thr life of an innocent child who has hurt absolutely no one and done no wrong at all. Although, if the person can just do away with the life they created, they probably weren't fit to raise a child in the first place. But they should have used protection if they didn't want a child. Now, I understand there are situations where a woman is raped and she can't see herself raising the child That was conceived as a product of rape. But I think that's a great time to consider adoption. Adoption is a great alternative to abortion. Let someone love that child and give it the life you were not able to. But as I said this is my personal opinion... And everyone of us is entitled to such.

Yep. Make the mom carry the baby for 9 months so she can remember it every day and suffer more. Then put it in the already overcrowded adoption homes so it can be tossed around foster families and have even more mental issues than u!

As you can (hopefully) see, adoption is probably not the best option in all cases because our adoption system is bloated with cases of children who might not ever get adopted. That anyone would expect a rape victim to carry the child of her attacker is absolutely horrifying and preposterous.

Its a sad world when a person can't have an opinion without being called mental. I stand by my choice of being pro-life and am happy to say that my child will grow up in a happy, loving, stable, two-parent home. I wish that was the case for every child, but unfortunately it is not. I am not unaware of that fact. Every woman has a right to do with her body as she chooses. I dont feel like abortion in any case is "ok"... The "type" of abortion I feel most strongly about however is when a woman is purposely sleeping around(or just sleeping with one person) not using protection then gets pregnant and has an abortion because it isn't what she wanted. In cases that have nothing to do with rape or things of that nature, if you think you're ready to be having sex then you should be ready to raise a child. A baby is an amazing thing and so many good people who want children are unable to have them.. Yet there are people aborting their "unwanted accidents" all the time. That's pretty sad to me. You can judge and bash me all you want to, it will NOT make me support abortion.

I think it is murder but its a personal choice.

1.21 million abortions in US each year. Of course there'd be a slight drop if it became illegal, but not by much. So I think each of you who believe it should be illegal should go adopt yourself a few babies today. That's assuming that you can pass all the inspections and background checks and red tape for an adoption! Go ahead. Make a statement. Prove yourself to this already overpopulated world.

I would rather see a child aborted because it is not wanted then to see those same people who did not want that child to kill or abuse it later in life. That sort of thing is happening more and more these days.
