It is a human life. If it was a rape, give it up for adoption.

It is the person decision and their right to do what they want to their body. Eventually after so many abortions they will not be able to have any children any way. See this is how I look at it. A child needs its birth mother and father and when given up for adoption that child will always wonder how are my birth parents are like. Also what if the child never gets adopted, so you leave them in this world where you exist(they know that you exist) and they will start to wonder will they ever be wanted by someone because their birth parents gave them away.You dont want to put a child in a situation where they feel like they were never loved. In most cases people who feel like they were never loved end themselves! I personally wouldnt do an abortion ever, but that option shouldnt be taken away from women! It isnt right to tell others what to do with their body. So..... what I am saying if you are not ready to be a parent you will never be ready and you dont want your child to miss out on his or her family(biological). Yes, they can experience that connection with others. but nothing compares to your real family. Therefore if you dont wanted dont bring a child up in an environment where it is not loved by its biological parents. Just end it! Dont let it suffer...

Abortion should never be legal. There is a seemingly never ending holocaust of unborn children. This new life possess human DNA at the moment of conception thus it is a human being that is then murdered by its own mother. How sad it is that a mother thinks her only option is to kill her own baby. As far as observable science is concerned, human life begins at conception. With all the options available, one does not need to kill the growing living baby inside of her. Baby killing is just plain wrong. So as for me and my family, we are against murdering unborn children.

The easy part for me is that #1 human zygotes, embryos and fetuses are alive and that #2 this new life possesses human DNA and is the offspring of human parents, it can legitimately only be described as human life. Don't kill your own baby!

Here are some options available other than killing your own child:

1. Consider parenting the child yourself. You’re stronger than you think and there is always help available from your family, friends, or governmental agencies.

2. Reach out to the father of this child. Perhaps he and/or his family would like to raise or assist in raising this child.

3. Consider placing your child in temporary foster care. Many temporary foster care agencies are dedicated to helping you through parenting classes and other government resources.

4. Consider placing your child for adoption. There are attorneys, agencies and private adoption facilitators helping birth mothers and adoptive families to find each other.

5. Consider dropping off your newborn baby at a Safe Surrender or Safe Haven Site. Many states have laws that allow you to safely surrender your baby to a fire station, doctor or hospital emergency room without fear of prosecution or any questions asked.

All of these options are available to you. Please do not kill your own baby. Instead consider one of the above options.

Is abortion right? Is abortion wrong? When will you people get it through your heads that this is an argument that can never be won by either side. Those who believe in abortion will never, repeat never, be convinced that the right of an unborn infant to live is superceded by a woman's right to choose the time in her life when she feels comfortable taking on the responsibilities of motherhood.
At the same time, those who believe that abortion is the murder of an unborn person, will never accept that there are any circumstances that would ever justify taking the life of a person simply because that person lives inside, rather than outside of it's mother's body.
This argument has raged on for decades. I have never seen a pro abortionist change his/her position regardless of the strength of arguments offered against abortion. Neither have I ever seen an anti abortionist change his/her mind based on the very strong arguments in favor of abortion.
One day, perhaps a thousand years from now, historians will look back on our civilization and pass judgement on us. They may say, "The people of the 21st century were uncivilized barbarians who tore the bodies of unborn children from their mothers bodies and burned them in abortion clinic furnaces." On the other hand, they may say, "The 21st century was a time of unbelievable liberation for women. No longer were they required to give birth to a child that they did not want and were neither mentally nor financially prepared to care for."
As is so often the case in questions that are highly emotionally charged, opinions are polarized and fixed in hardened steel. In the end, history will judge our actions from the unobstucted vantage point that is only reached after the passage of a ponderous period of time.

All this bickering. All I know is, I'm pregnant and I don't know who the father is! I chose to have three boyfriends at once. It's my CHOICE. I love my life it's just sometimes I wonder which of them is the baby's father? Oh well, time to hit the clinic again. It's my choice to kill the baby in my womb and nobody elses. Taxpayers pay for it anyways. There are more important things to worry about. Tootles!

Of course there are more important things to worry about. What's another unwanted baby matter in the overall scheme of life. Hit that clinic again and hit it as many times as necessary. You may even consider setting up a standing appointment to avoid being inconvenienced by all that red tape and waiting.

Exactly. So what if friends of mine, who've had abortions tell me I'll regret it and go through psycological trauma, guilt and depression of wondering how the baby may have turned out. I mean, my dad is an engineer and my mother is an accountant...You think this baby is going to be a rocket scientist or someone who can cure aids or something absurd!

So what if the AMA "theorizes" that the more a woman has abortions it increases the chances of ovarian cancer and decreases the chances of normal birth! It's my body!

I agree. But I think debates like these are targeted at people like me, who have had five or more abortions, that account for 95% of abortions. The American people, Emily, are OBLIGATED to pay for MY abortions and many women who love and need sex but don't want kids, as well as rape victims, incest victims, which only account less than five percent...So what if my mother didn't want to abort me, that was her choice! I'm not going to say I'm completely against abortion because that would be hypocritical. I mean, if you have unprotected sex and you're not in school, then give the baby up for adoption. But if I got preggers, I'd abort it because I'm in high school and I'd lose any hope of an education. Yeah, people are going to hate on me, but I know that's what I would do.
