Seri, you never know someone's situation. And you should never judge until you've been in that woman's shoes. People make mistakes. I myself screwed up at a young age, and chose to terminate my pregnancy. I learned from my mistake and 20 years later I am still arguing with people like you about it. The ones that we NEED to be protesting about are these 20 year old girls with four kids by three different people. I paid for my abortion with money I earned at my job while supporting myself and going to college at the same time. YOU and I are the ones paying for girls who DON'T learn their lessons, while at the same time they are over populating our country with children they can't take care of.

Do you think there should be a certain stage in the pregnancy that abortions are no longer permitted? Or should we be able to just get rid of them whenever we want? I mean there are some 1 and 2 year old children that I have met that should probably be aborted.
Angie, I'm glad you could shirk off the responsibility of your mistake so easily! The next time I get drunk and kill someone in a car crash maybe the judge will just let me off the hook. I mean it is, after all, a screw up. I wouldn't really mean to kill the other person. Just something I did when I wasn't in a good frame of mind... And the whole reason I was drinking was because my whole family just died in a car crash, so you're right, you never know someone's situation.

John, that is such a great point you made. You should write that on a sign & go protest at Planned Parenthood. I guess next time I see another young girl using her food stamp card and then load her four kids up into an Esclade SUV... I will think of you and this nice comparison you just made about drunk driving (which is illegal) and birth control/condoms failing after having sex (which is not).

I totally agree with Angie. I myself was in this situation at 19 years old because of a birth control failure....NOT for being irresponsible....and NOBODY has any right to judge another unless they've been in that situation themselves and knows that it isn't an easy decision to make. It's a personal choice and if you don't like it then oh well....it's not hurting you.

I was not judging anyone, I was stating my opinion. As for the ones popping out multiple babies and can't afford them, need to be fixed. I believe the same goes for men who have multiple babies. I had my son at 18. He is my only child. His daddy, now has at least 5 other kids, I know 2 he doesn't tAke care of.
Yes I believe their are reasons people feel that they must have an abortion, but there are soooo many family's that want babies and will pay for everything in the pregnancy. Knocked up mom doesn't have to keep the child, but it gets to live!!

Just because an issue is legal doesn't make it right. Abortion is a choice issue. Here is your choice, keep your legs closed if you aren't ready to be a parent, the end. The end result of sex is pregnancy. If it were truely a matter of choice then where is the unborn babies choice? Life begins at conception and should be treated as a life not a mistake.

I think a woman has a right to choose what she does with her own body. It doesn't matter what anyone else says it is her body. No one should try and tell her what she can and cannot do with it. Accidents happen and it is not always because of irresponsibility. The only thing I disagree with Is abortions in the last trimester because that is a fully formed child. Personally anything after the first trimester I don't agree with unless it is harming the mother. As for bringing God into the matter, not everyone has those same beliefs and it is not fair to anyone to have religious beliefs of others forced onto them.

Accidents can be prevented. If it is ok to abort a child, it is ok to shoot you. Right??

No to say that all accidents can be prevented is naive. Condoms break, pills can be inactive. It's not ok to shoot someone by no means. However, I don't consider a cell a life. Until it starts to form into a human being do I even consider it to be a person. To me, it's like saying someone's mammary cells are ppl. I chose that example because those are the cells they have attempted to use in cloning. If someone has a mastectomy then they just killed a whole population by science standards so no. It's a woman's choice nobody has any right to tell her what to do with her body. It's like saying u have a cancerous mole and somebody telling you can't. It's your body nobody else's.

Angie I would go out and hold a sign but I'd be afraid they couldn't read them.
But you made a good point... Maybe the mom with all the kids and the Escalade should be euthanized. Same thing, right? Better late than never?
As for a condom breaking... DON'T HAVE SEX. On the same note.... DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE. Pretty simple concepts that aren't very well understood, I guess.

I believe that it is nobody else's business what someone wants to with their own bodies. I don't even see the point arguing about it when it is simply no ones business
