It is the woman's body, she is the only person who has any say in the matter.

If it not your body, you do not get a vote. It is the woman's RIGHT to choose.

Abortion is a private matter and others' personal or religious beliefs and/or judicial laws should not interfere. However, I believe there should be a legal time period in which an abortion can take place which should be determined by a qualified MD/obstetrician.

50 years ago, when I was 23, and single, I became pregnant despite birth control. I gave my situation great thought. I am not religious but I felt the child had a right to life but I did not want to parent it. I went to a well qualified attorney, arranged for a private adoption (I got to choose among 10 different couples). They paid all my expenses and my child had a good life and a good education which I could never have afforded for him. He is a successful citizen. I have never regretted my decision for one moment and I have had no contact with the child, ever. My decision. It was not hard for me to give up the child...and I did the right thing. I have never ever regretted it. And no, I never had more children, by choice.

I'm Female, 22, and just this Christmas had a brief encounter with a mature man. It was wonderful. We met via internet dating on this site: SeekSugarDad.C óM- a good way to meet like-minded people, and he actually approached me first. It just so happens I like older man and he likes woman around my age. We had an amazing day and later on he joined me at a hotel. It was like a fantasy come true. Amazing company, amazing sex too and a really warm and loving man. He will turn 36 this month, and my goodness what a connection we had that day.

the future child did nothing wrong, so why should he/she be destroyed because the parents don't want to take responsibility for their actions. It's very easy to to kill, but it takes courage to be responsible.

As a christian I live by the ten commandments. Thou shalt not kill. I FELT the moment of conception. My son was alive then. Abortion is murder.

Christianity, by definition, picks and chooses bits and pieces from the Bible. Some parts they worship, others they ignore. But they do not understand any of it, or they could not be christians in the first place.

Incorrect. There is no such commandment.

No, what you felt is the orgasm as you shot your wad into some gal's vagina. BIG difference. You have no clue as to when a sperm cell actually managed to reach the egg.

That is your opinion, not based on any facts of evidence.
steve james wrote:

False. Abortion requires a living breathing human being. Unless the doctor seriously messes up, no human being are ever harmed during an abortion. Which is exactly WHY it must be kept safe and legal.

The world is full of people all ready. Bringing an unwanted child into the world is a crime against humanity. Unwanted children produce unwanted crime.
It is a woman obligation to abort at anytime she feels the need.

When it comes down to it, being male, I don't have the right to tell a woman what to do. Granted, if I'm the one who impregnated a woman, I should have a say, but the final decision is hers and hers alone.

The topic of abortion is something that should be decided by women alone.

Some People can't afford to raise children but cant abort them because of religious or legal reasons, the one that suffers the most is the child.

Some women get pregnant by a rapist, and may see the child's father in the child or what ever drove the father to become a rapist may be passed on to the child, the mother may be alone and again may be in no condition to raise a child for any number of reasons and the one that suffers the most is the child

some people have children but are incapable at the time physically psychology/emotionally or financially and the one that suffers the most is the child

and then some people have children because their a tax write off or for welfare reasons and the one that suffers the most is the child

Some religions are against abortion because it might reduce the number of followers that donate 10% of their income to them.

these are only a few reasons that may result in a child being brought up in an environment with out the necessary emotional and financial support that can breed psychological problems in addition the child may already have the genetic makeup from the father that is prone to psychological issues.

Religion and the legal system need to stay out of the subject of abortion children should be raised in a manner then does not breed mental illness

I already have a mental illness and have taken myself out of the breeding population completely because I do not feel I have the right to gamble that my child wont end up being a nut case like his father but not everybody has that kind of self discipline

Sex seems to be a form of cheep entertainment but in the long run it could cost you your health your teenage years your income your job or in some cases life and limb.

Keep Abortion Legal
