There are several verses in the bible...but let's just say..."Thou shall not murder." Go for adoption before abortion.

Would you be one who would force motherhood on a woman or leave that decision to her,her doctor, and her Maker?

When you force a woman to have an unwanted child that child could end up subject to abuse, neglect, drugs, etc. I'd rather an aborted child than one that has to endure years of abuse, neglect, and pain. No way. I love my child so very much, but not all woman should be mothers.

That unwanted child could just as easily become the President, or a great inventor, or a scientist who cures cancer. There are many stories of those who almost got an abortion and that child turned out to have a great effect on the world. Everyone, including unborn children deserve the right to live.

Not if they don't have the "right" parent. I would NOT sacrafice hundres of childrens abuse and neglect for that one maybe. When that one maybe will most likely come from parents who were parents because they wanted to be not forced to be. Work in Child services for a while, you'll change your mind.

Who is to say who is and isn't a bad parent until they are? You are being totally unrealistic in your argument. So many so-called "good" parents end up with awful children and the opposite is also true. If a parent is indeed found to be bad, then the child should be removed. Who are you that decides who should live and who should die based on your opinion? Like it or not, abortion is murder whether it is legal or not. Society as a whole suffers for all crime, some suffer more and directly than other, but nonetheless they still suffer. Instead of killing a baby for a rape, the rapist should have his pecker removed and his balls snipped. That I would go for!

Women that hollar"rape" after consensual sex have ruined the chances of getting good convictions in court. Now after you neuter the rapist and find out it wasn't rape, are you going to super glue it back on? Any woman filing false rape charges should serve hard jail time. The man gets his name drug through the newspaper and TV news and gets his life ruined but when he proves he's innocent, not an appology,no retractions. Wonder why?

I won't disagree with you and in fact in some respects, agree. But to be honest, the discussion is for or against abortion so I won't vary from that and shouldn't have in my response.

Why? Did they have to perform an exorcist? Would a Baptist not been able to do it?

Baptist will terminate a pregnancy long before it became legal. Catholic doctor knew I was developing therefore I could not be aborted by a Baptist. The Catholic Hospital would not give my mother surgery to not become pregnant. She's soon pregnant and the same Catholic doctor knows so again she can't kill the unborn without the Catholics knowing. She also had that child at the Catholic Hospital. She then gets a Baptist doctor and Baptist Hospital BUT to have her tubes tied, she had to give birth. They would not give that surgery till right after birth!
Thank GOD FOR CATHOLICS. AMEN.
I am pro life but if Mae's Mother had gotten an abortion we all would not have to read her crap. For Pete's sake give it a rest!

CRAP IS WHAT YOU ARE MADE OF.
What happened to "Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God" (3 John 11)???

That was a pretty good impression of evil, Mae! Telling someone God created that they are crap. I mean, that is what you were doing, right? Imitating evil. Unless in your twisted mind you think calling someone names is a good Godly thing to do. You have a long way to go to begin to understand what being a Godly woman is really all about. And the way you talk, I am pretty sure you never accepted Jesus as your Savior. So why do you even bother to quote bible scripture? You even think finding a dress is a miracle from God... Lord have mercy!

Look this has been a trying time for us with posters who just want to be ugly. You go on and have a happy life.
I'm sorry some posters are giving you a bad time. I have to say, some of it you've brought down on yourself with some of the things you say. I'm not trying to be ugly, I simply asked a simple question. It was more of a point. Based on the fact you quote scripture and based on what you have said and admitted to in the past, you are one of three things:

1. A Christian who doesn't understand their own religion, or
2. A person who THINKS they are a Christian, but only because they say they believe in God. Or
3. A person who is confused about religion and only quotes the bible because they've read some of it.

So which is it? I only ask because you post here and you seem confused about what it is to be a Christian. Perhaps I can help you with that. I have an email if you wish it to be private.

A thought to ponder: When does the skin cell that becomes cancerous get called cancer? When a sperm enters an egg (both made up of living human cells) they immediately begin to communicate and combine to make a new human. Again, when does the skin cell that becomes cancerous get called cancer? When do you call a fertilized egg human? It's not rocket science. Murder is murder no matter how you dress it up.

The definition of a human is both parents are from the homo genome and being means state of existence the human fetus meet the requirements to be called a human being and is protected by The U.S. Constitution and religious text. But I suspect many pro death people believe in God or Constitution. To many of them we are just cells and energy and the rite and wrong is decided by the person. So I decided people whom live in my world that is to stupid to use birth control should be the first aborted not the youngest and best of our nation or better yet at least give the baby a sporting chance.Put the name of the father, mother, doctor, and baby in a hat let a child draw the name and that is who is aborted
