I believe women should be allowed to have abortions if they desire them but I also believe that once they have an abortion they should not be allowed to ever conceive again. It's a fairly simple concept. The only deviation from this would be if a woman were raped, molested or a high risk to the potential mother.

But do u belive the parents of a 13 yr old child should take the 13 yr old for an abortion because they could not make the 13 yr old keep her panties up, because the 13 yr old was a tramp then and now still is.

I think it is the right of those parents and that child to work this out themselves. People are dying to get in other peoples business when they have plenty to clean up in their own life. If you know someone like this and this person is a friend or family member, you should be ashamed. This I am sure is a very embarrassing moment and can be tragic as well. Need to know someone's opinion or someone to talk to??? Get down on your knees and talk to GOD because this child and the parents will need prayer to get through this regardless of the choice they take!

Abortions are needed. People can barely take care of themselves much less another being.

America is about being free. Wealthy women have always had abortions. My aunt had one in 1936.

This is just wrong, both in fact and in biology. The sperm and the egg were both fully alive before conception. Life actually began about four billion years ago. Since that time, there is an unbroken line of living cells that leads to the sperm and the egg. Life doesn't begin anew simply because an egg is fertilized; life simply continues. Maybe you don't believe in common descent or evolution. Even though I think that's a foolish belief, you are entitled to it, but common descent is nonetheless true. The scientific evidence for it is just overwhelming, and it would be perverse to reject it.

You can choose to believe that at the moment of conception, a deity creates a soul, and embeds that soul into the fertilized egg. There is no physical evidence for such a belief, but I support your right to believe it, even though I myself do not. This is the meaning of the first amendment. You have the absolute and unfettered right to any religious belief you choose.

It would be natural to expect that the religious far right, being opposed as they are to abortion, would be avid supporters of contraceptive information for young people. After all, preventing unwanted pregnancies would do away with most abortions. Strangely, they are generally unfriendly towards this idea. They may or may not be opposed to contraception in principle, but only very rarely do they advocate making such information freely available to young unmarried people.

One would think that the religious far right would approve of homosexual behavior, because gay and lesbian behavior by its very nature does away with any worries about abortion, contraception, and unwed mothers.

As someone that has not been able to have children I think it should not be an option unless the moms life is in danger. There is always people like me that would love a baby. Also, I am pretty sure that the Bible says not to kill.

Has anyone ever thought that maybe the baby that was aborted could have been the ONE that grew up to cure cancer...but that may never happen now because that child was aborted? Thank about that for a while. Everything happends for a reason. God don't make mistakes.

I believe every child deserves a chance at life! There's plenty of people that adopt because they can't have children...It's not the child's fault...give someone a chance to love that child!!

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Pisces

Things are not always what they seem today, so be careful. Someone might appear to be completely honest but turn out later to have been fooling you in some way. Or a situation may seem quite clear-cut right now but forthcoming events will reveal that things are very different under the surface. So be wary about who and what you believe, and don't let anyone push you into making important decisions today because they may not be in your best interests.
