These precious little 7 to 9 year old Choir Boys were, for all practical purposes,Bought from their Dirt Poor parents, taken to the local Catholic Church, held down, and forcibly Castrated by Catholic Priests to keep their voices from changing. The POPES had Decreed that Women were to remain Silent in the church, and that included Singing. The Choirs couldn't hit the high notes, so the Catholic Clergy got approval from the Popes to substitute Castrated Choir Boys for women singers.
Many of these Boys bled to death under the knives of the murderous Priests, or died from infections arising from the crude unsanitary
surgeries. If the Castrato Choir Boy's voice changed in spite of the surgery, he was summarily dismissed and sent home sans testicles.
This Murder and Mutilation of Choir Boys went on for a few centuries and ended in the very late 1800's. This excruciating pain, and MURDER was visited on these unwilling Choir Boys soley for the listening pleasure of the Catholic Church Crowd and the Catholic Clergy. The Catholic Clergy has NO moral high ground to speak from on Abortion.
