A woman has the right to choose what she wants for her body. No person should be allowed to dictate what can or cannot be done to another person.

Not sure why it posted it in all capital letters, so I would like to apologize in advance for this.

Another point I would like to make is this:

A minor girl (under the age of 16) gets raped and becomes pregnant.

a. The child didn't ask for this, so should be able to have a "out".
b. No child is prepared to raise a child at a young age.
c. What if the rapist has genetic difficiencies?

Why does the responsibility move to the rape victim - that responsibility to accept an unwanted child and to raise it for the rest of her life?

Whomever has the mentality to allow a child to bring an unwanted pregnancy to term, has never been raped, nor has the knowledge of what it does to a child who has been.

Pro-Choice - it is a woman's choice - not some men in Washington or any other state capitol.

I am pro choice BUT as I posted in another ABORTION thread I started there has to be a few exceptions, like if a married couple or couple living together find out that the baby is going to have deformities, tough luck, have the baby and learn to love it as you wanted the baby.

If it is not the sex the want, tough luck, have and love the baby.
Don't make babies if you are not prepared to love and support what comes out.

But at the same time yes a women should have the right to decide but as I stated above you can't pick and chose which babies to keep, which to abort or which to put up for adoption.

What you did not include is incest, so a dad or brother or another male relative gets the girl pregnant, right off that is cause for abortion and the male should be in prison.

Problem with incest is the girl (s) are threatened not to talk or else something bad will happen to her or another.

But I am damn tired of the courts and pro-life people pushing their agenda on others and blocking legalized abortion clinics.

The way around that is to require abortions be done in hospitals and no hospital, even the Catholic ones can refuse them, now they are done under proper procedure with the proper equipment at hand.

I have to admit I can't decide if ALWAYS or MOST CASES is the proper answer and that coming from a Pro Choice person.

While I don't like the idea of abortion I'm not about to oppose it so I am pro-choice. Its an individual decision each must weigh plus outlawing it will only drive it underground. I've known two women who've had abortions and neither regrets the decision.

Zia do you know what you are doing here?

Recall just the other day you mentioned we would probably never agree on things?

Well?

Seems we do agree on something here, we are both pro-choice.

While the pro-abortionists dance on the head of a pin and split hairs on the issue of abortion like teen-age girls ratting their locks, the ancient gods Baal and Moloch laugh their heads off with their chins dripping the blood of the Innocents.

First of all, if "pro-lifers" want to be taken seriously, they need to stop calling abortion "murder." Murder is a legal concept, and since abortion IS LEGAL, it cannot be considered murder. Is it killing? Yes, but nobody is denying that. But is the state executing a convicted killer also murder?

That is such a basic and simple concept that it blows my mind that they cannot grasp it.

But, let's assume it is for a moment. Who would you sentence to death for it? The mother (and since the father contributed, he can be given the same sentence as the mother), or the doctor? Or, if the death penalty is too much for you, which would you put in prison for life with no possibility for parole?

Add to this if they have children already whose going to raise and support them if the parents are either put to death or life without parole?

Abortion is murder! We have the rights as Americans to Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. An unborn child is still a human being, dont they deserve right as well.

Are they paying taxes?

Normally, rights are only applied to those who pay taxes.

Example: people in jail, don't pay taxes, they have no rights.

This is the logic you provide.

Does it work? I didn't think so either.
