Son of Iraqi journalist shot dead
KIRKUK: The son of a journalist at a popular weekly newspaper in northern Iraq was allegedly shot dead by US troops when his car appeared to veer wildly, local police said on Thursday.

There is more to this story than is reported because the driver shot at and hit a US Army soldier, endangering the civilian shoppers in the marketplace. Only then did the soldiers return fire.
