By Mike Sulka The Izod IndyCar series is on the streets of Long Beach, California this weekend for the longest running annual street event in the United States - the 2013 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.

The answer is Ryan Hunter-Reay, who became the first American-born champion of a unified IndyCar title since Al Unser Jr.

The public is invited to the free, 8th annual, induction ceremony which will be held at 11 a.m. on South Pine Avenue in front of the Convention Center, along the route of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.

Since 1975, America's version of the Monaco Grand Prix - the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach - has seen legendary drivers in Formula One, CART/Champ Car and IndyCar create some of the greatest moments in motorsports history.

People in this week in racing history includes: Buzz Calkins, Emerson Fittipaldi, Robert Hoe Fergus, Jo Bonnier, Al Holbert, Chip Robinson, Derek Bell, Al Unser Jr.
