Police searching for killer who escaped psychiatric ward

A man accused of stabbing a Kiryat Yam taxi driver to death in 2007 escaped Tuesday from the Sha'ar Menashe Psychiatric Hospital, where he has been detained ever since he was determined to be unfit to stand trial.

Murderer escapes psychiatric hospital

Arnold Israelov, 36, a resident of northern Israel who stabbed and killed a taxi driver in Kiryat Yam in 2007, escaped on Tuesday from the Shaar Menashe Mental Health Center near Pardes Hanna, where he was hospitalized since he was found unfit to stand trial.
