A Grad Katyusha missile exploded in an area south of Ashkelon Monday afternoon. The attack came after a day in which no rockets had been launched since midnight at southern Israel by Gaza terrorists.

More than 20 mortars and rockets were fired today from the Gaza Strip at Israeli communities including Ashdod , Ashkelon , Gan Yavne and the Eshkol Regional Council, causing light to moderate injuries to at least three people and damaging several buildings, including a school.
