Trustees pick bond program manager
School trustees voted Tuesday night to extend the contract of the Los Angeles-based firm that has handled pre-construction services for the district's $593.6 million bond program and to pay it $4.8 million to manage the program for much of 2008.
The vote was 8-0 in favor of shifting Daniel, Mann, Johnson & Mendenhall, or DMJM, into the role of program manager. School board President Bill Koehler was not present for the vote.
