Pagans observe Samhain

Topekan Mary Lou Schmidt said she heard a few years ago that a local Christian radio station was referring to Halloween as "Satan's birthday." Schmidt, a frequent letters-to-the editor contributor who identifies herself as a Pagan and worships the goddess Isis, dialed up the station to set the record straight, she said.
