Bailey Christmas Parade ready to go on Saturday
Bailey's 41st annual Christmas Parade, sponsored by the town and Bailey Chamber of Commerce, will be held this Saturday at 2 p.m. The 45-minute to an hour parade, with the theme this year of 'Old Fashioned Country Christmas,' will head east to west on the town's Main Street while as many as a thousand people watch.

Online Obamacare Enrollment for Small Business Delayed. Again.
Not that it's a huge frigging surprise, but small business online enrollment in Affordable Care Act-compliant health insurance, which was already delayed from October 1 until December 1 , will be pushed back a full year, until November of 2014.

Why is Thanksgiving more sacred than three other holidays?
Why is every store/business/you name it open on Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day, and that's acceptable ? But not acceptable on Thanksgiving?
