A settlement between NHL player Todd Bertuzzi and Marc Crawford that no longer makes the former Vancouver Canucks coach liable in a $38-million lawsuit for a hit that ended ex-NHLer Steve Moore's career should be made public, a Toronto court heard Monday.

But after the Canucks took several shots at Brad Marchand and the Bruins [ team stats ] in general Sunday after Vancouver scored a 4-3 win Saturday at the Garden, both the general manager and coach Claude Julien fired back in defense.

The former Vancouver Canucks head coach, who now works as a broadcaster for TSN, is no longer personally liable for any damages in Steve Moore's $38-million lawsuit against Todd Bertuzzi and the company that owns the Canucks.
