Veteran forward, team captain and three-time All-Star Milan Hejduk has signed a one-year contract to stay with the Colorado Avalanche through the 2012-13 season.

The Avalanche have announced that Milan Hejduk has been signed to a one-year contract worth $2 million.

Milan Hejduk: "I believe in this organization and our young players and look forward to helping the team in any way that I can." The Avalanche has re-signed forward Milan Hejduk to a one-year contract the team announced.
