A 3-2 loss to the Worcester Sharks Sunday at DCU Center in Worcester, Mass., in their 2011-12 regular-season finale kept the Bears winless in seven April games.

Jason King's 22nd goal if the season stood as the winner as the St. John's IceCaps beat the Worcester Sharks 3-1 in American Hockey League action Friday.

As the result of a disappointing week that saw the Worcester Sharks lose all four of their games and extend their losing streak to six games, the dropped to 14th place in the AHL Eastern Conference and are nine points behind the Manchester Monarchs for the eighth and final playoff spot.
