Just when it looked as though the Springfield Falcons would snap their winless streak at 11 games, the Providence Bruins snapped to life.

Manchester Monarchs goaltender Jonathan Bernier was on the top of his game yesterday in Providence as he turned away 36 shots for a 2-0 shutout victory over the Bruins in American Hockey League action at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.
