Jamie Langenbrunner and his linemates have had more defensive responsibilities this season than they did in 2008-09. Fifteen games into this season, Devils captain Jamie Langenbrunner is getting a clear idea of what John Madden and Jay Pandolfo experienced when they formed the team's checking line for the better part of a decade.
