Mathieu Carle reassigned to Hamilton
The Canadiens have returned defenceman Mathieu Carle to the Hamilton Bulldogs, General Manager Bob Gainey announced Wednesday morning.
The Devils signed left wing Dean McAmmond to a two-way contract Friday. Ita TMs a one-year deal with an NHL salary of $500,000. GM Lou Lamoriello said McAmmond, 36, will be joining the team shortly, but wona TMt play tonight in Ottawa because he is "under the weather" with a cold.
