Penguins send Guenin back to Wilkes-Barre
The Penguins have returned defenseman Nate Guenin to their American Hockey League affiliate in Wilkes-Barre. Guein, a Hopewell High School product, played in two games during his recall, joining Ryan Malone and Bill Thomas as the only Western Pennsylvania natives to play for the Penguins.
Penguins' Goligoski out 2-3 weeks
The Pittsburgh Penguins have lost defenseman Alex Goligoski for two- to three weeks with a lower body injury, team officials said Monday.

The Penguins have recalled defenseman Nate Guenin, a Hopewell High School graduate, from their farm team in Wilkes-Barre. Guenin's promotion suggests the Penguins are, at the very least, concerned that injured defenseman Alex Goligoski won't be available to play when they face Anaheim at 7:38 tonight in Mellon Arena.
Falcons searching for consistency
