Blues know they have to pick up their game

They've been challenged by chairman Dave Checketts, who told them in no uncertain terms "It's time to win." They have been encouraged, pushed and prodded by coach Andy Murray and generally placed in the "what's going on here?" stack by the rest of the NHL.

MacInnis got his start in Regina

Al MacInnis had the Blued long before he ever played in St. Louis. It's a little-known fact that the former NHL defenceman, who was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame on Monday, began his junior career in Regina with the SJHL's Pat Blues, who were basically a farm team to the Regina Pats.
