GUANGZHOU: Authorities in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, yesterday began paying workers whose wages have been defaulted by a local express delivery company due to its sudden closure.
Police chief sacked over applying for award to dead-drunk officer
A police officer has been sacked for applying for naming his subordinate, who drank himself to death at a banquet in southern China, a "martyr," the local public security authority said Tuesday.
