The Mount Anthony Union High School football team will be holding a fundraiser at the McDonald's on Northside Drive in Bennington on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Portions of meals purchased that night will go towards the football program, while the team will also be having a 50/50 raffle and a bake sale.

The Leland & Gray girls and boys varsity soccer teams will each open up with a home match against Bellows Falls on Aug. 30. Both Rebel teams won five regular season games in 2013, with the Leland & Gray boys going 5-8-1 and the girls going 5-9.
