I have been diadnosed with P.T.S.d. & have problems sleeping but now I have found out that I have Insomia due to severe Depression and P.T.S.D. Which work hand in hand with each other . Therefore I have to have Meds to get to sleep at night. Is there any other way to get off the meds for sleep?

I agree that comfortable bedding in a dark, quiet room definitely helps you get to sleep. I have CFS/sleep apnea and invested in down comforter, feather bed and pillow from http://www.sleepydowncomforters.com . I also avoid eating or drinking a couple of hours before bed which helps me get to sleep instead of waking up to go the restroom.

I normally lie in bed worrying and completely frightened about the hard core smokers coming to get poor youou and blow smoke on him and it keeps him awake almost nightly.

I normally read until I nod or lie there and imagine I am going around a race track which is like counting sheep....I guess.

Or youou just imagines a nice clean smoke-free world which to enjoy like in...a world with respectful smokers.
