The implementation of the premise is a joke--and the joke is on the American people. Maybe the medical community has the knowledge and evebn the desire to change things but any efforts are falling on deaf ears. I restrict which restaurants I go to and read all the labels before I but any food. But it takes a lot of work, as 99.9% of all food products on all shelves have exorbitant amounts of sodium. Just a small example--I used to eat a small tuna sub at Subway because I thought it had healthy ingredients--until I learned (from their own web site) that it had over 1000 mg of sodium. It's an uphill battle to find things to eat--that don't have huge amounts of sodium.
