My father is an 85 years old and has been diagnosed with the flesh eating virus. They found that it is in his nose area inside. His first symptom was to be like he may have had a stroke, then he became fine to talk to us even though his speech was slurred, then he became so violent that they had to restrain his hands and his feet. Now he is doing fine again.
He has been hospitalized but we do not know were to go or what to do at this point we believe that it may have traveled to his brain. The hospital staff has been very wonderful with him to keep him comfortable and are now seeing were it takes him. They are giving him anti bionics so we can just hope at this point.
