There is no soften stance on autism vaccin link. There is over 90 % of research money eluded to genetic and so far nothing to show for. The autism vaccin link is a prominent one. The parenst should beware of these so called prominent experts. The can not fool people. Autism vaccin link is like a tree and his roots. So many parents have reported autism folllowing vaccination. This is no casual coincidence when it is repeated in 70% of parents reporting. As for parents better catch mumps, flu or any other disease rather than autism. Go fool yourselves. Just mmy opinion. Let those flu shots go rotting on those shelves. They have lost public confidence and it will just get worse.

Parents reporting is not science. You actually need a little more than that. There's been many studies to show there is no credible link to vaccines and autism, at least not for the majority and it can be said there's nothing to show for that and it'd be true or there'd be no debate. Those genetic studies have produced much to show even if you're unwilling to accept it. Very few people disagree that genetics has to play a role as well. Advising parents "better catch mumps, flu or any other disease rather than autism" unless you have some miracle evidence that shows which child will have autism after a vaccine and also know the child's other medical history that could affect their health if they contract a childhood disease. Your opinion is bad medical advise. maybe you need to see a child suffering from these diseases or read up on the death rate.

I think you are brain washed with so called experts researchers. 40 years and still they do not want to say what the causes are? But they have no problem, injecting useless vaccins in all kids. Without even assessing the side effects. Did you ever hear Guillaum Barré syndorme. Complete paralysis follwoing vaccination. Look it up. Although rare it happens. You have better luck and odds get paralysis from vaccination rather than winnig a big lottery. Think about it.

Oh, yes. 40 years and "them" still not saying what causes autism is *definitely* most suspicious. That's proof of a conspiracy theory right there. OBVIOUSLY this proves that these "useless" vaccines cause autism!

Vaccin are not useless. It is one of the most lifesaving scientic advancements in history. And its science should be better understood and developped.. However, like many other drugs it should be assessed for its safety. Not indivually but rather globally. The combination of all vaccins within human body, chemical and physical changes, specially in children. Could Guillaume Barré syndrom be light form of autism? Who knows??!!!

40 years of autism? Interesting, I thought it all started in the 1990's. Not knowing the cause proves no conspiracy theory. There's not even a blood test for autism. Many medical issues have no known answers for why it happens, like cancer. Those who think conspiracy are those who are brainwashed and have the need to blame. About 80 percent fully recover from GBS, it's rare and has an incidence of 1 or 2 people per 100,000. Odd, many have autism and never had one vaccine. I know a ton of people whose children don't have autism and had all their vaccines. All one needs to do is look at any public school population and the rates of general ed to special ed. There's your assessment for safety in easy terms. It's a shame you wont accept genetic studies, you're closing doors to answers but those studies will still be done with or without your personal approval.

Sure keep up your genetic studies? In mean time we will warn new parents of vaccins side effects with or without your permission. Genetics explain only 10% of autism cases. What about the other 90%. The NOVO variations. Keep up your paid forums, we like to hear more convincing parents that vaccins are safe. If they are so safe take a bunch and shove it up your...

That's it? Just posting to be rude? I never said vaccines were safe for all people, but you are in no way to know which of those children it wouldn't be safe for since every child that has vaccines do not also have autism. Side effects for vaccines have always been there, parents should had known that years and years ago. My mom knew this in the 1960's. I'm also not here to convince any one of anything as it seems you are, only you cant convince me on the little evidence you provide.

I totally agree with Raymond comments. We need safety studies on vaccins. The vaccin autism link used to be considered a casual relationship but now it is widely known that the vaccins are not that safe as many so called experts make them seem to be. There is an epidemic of vaccins and allergic reaction and asthma, as well. So personally I have no doubt that vaccins have a very strong autism link.

Washington~ What a coincidence you're from Dublin, OH too and also miss-spell vaccines the same way Raymond does. It'd hard to take any one serious when they cant spell correctly, especially on an important subject as this. Vaccines are pretty safe for most, but not for everyone. Not sure what asthma has to do with anything other than one of the zillion things vaccines are blamed for with no scientific proof. But even still with autism, where's the proof? The only ones who consider vaccines not safe is people like you. The majority of the public do not share that same opinion. To know the safety of vaccines, just go look at a local school population. A lot of people can appear vaccine injured when you don't ever look for the ones who have no injuries at all. If you haven't noticed, the only one who pays attention to this thread(s) of yours is me. Happy weekend to you

Oh, I don't know, I for one read his threads and take them pretty seriously.... when I need a good laugh! We don't get treated to Yogi's special brand of paranoid irrationality anymore, she's since miraculously recovered her eyesight and become an artist. But good ol' Dublin, OH is a pretty reliable substitute when you just need a chuckle every once in a while. Lurking, reading, and laughing is still alive and well on Topix! And if there's a shot for that I don't want to take it!

Do not take friend post seriously. He is most probably paid for psoting on this forum. He knows vaccines have huge side effects. One of them AUTISM. 10 years of genetic research, billions of $ spent by so called experts and so far hardly 10% of autism can be explained. These 10% are the aspergers. The rest are regressive and the non verbals. Vaccines autism induced. Enjoy your upcoming shots of Swine flu and keep up your doses(If any in real life). The health officials can not even convince the nurses and their doctors to take their flu shots forget about ordinary citizens. Enjoy your Swine Flu cocktail.

Yep. I heard it all before. Since I have a different opinion I must be being paid, probably by the Big Bad Pharms themselves, right??? That's the excuse you all give and no one falls for that, either. Imagine not every parent out there not believing you, Raymond/ Washington. I am not being paid by anyone, and I also am not a he. And before you accuse me of not having a child with autism, guess again on that too.

Hey Friend: Don`t get upset. It is always the same with you provaccin people. You always accuse Wakefield kinds as charlatans making big bucks, stealing from families selling snake oil. Though you make money by posting on these forums. Go get your paycheck and if you have a kid on mildform of autism (Asperer) does not make you understand autism or even come close to it. Go to http//www.autisminnb.blogspot. com At the bottom of the page there is a graphic video of autism in real life. I bet you, you will turn it off halfway. For those ignorants that they want to keep autistics as special and not to treat them, well eat ... and burn in ... We will win over autism and that without so called experts like Offit, Fombonne. This is no fight with vaccines, no money involved but only human kindness, understanding and support.

You bother reading the blog post you provided?? Interesting, and most of all they can spell vaccines correctly. I'm still waiting for that pay check. Maybe you could make a call and hurry it my way? I've been posting here for quite some time, you of all people never upset me so if that's your attempt, it's not working. How it always ends up, is people like you accuse other's like me of everything under the sun, showing your true colors. Wakefield was debunked, last nights Dateline from his own mouth said he didn't know what causes autism, let along the MMR. He also prior to the release of his 1998 study, applied for a measles vaccine paten. Just think about that for a while, Wakefield had planned to produce his own measles jab, a 'vaccin', and of course make money off that. You call him what you want. I call him an opportunist targeting parents for his profit. He clearly had an agenda which back fired on him and now he sits in Texas, not licensed to practice in the USA as a doctor. Other than that 1998 study, Wakefield was unheard of, there after that study, he's done very little for autism other than to describe some unknown mystery GI issue that for some reason, he's the only doctor in the whole wide world who can locate it. I wouldn't want some doctor taking blood samples from my kid at a child's birthday party. He made jokes about the kids throwing up and passing out. No consideration for those children and he paid them. Nobody is asking you to share my opinion of Wakefield, I don't have to share yours, either. He's your hero, he's not mine, but we'll both still survive! I have a son who was diagnosed with severe autism. I didn't need a video to inform me what it's all about but maybe others will find the blog link helpful. The only difference between you and I is my son's autism was not caused by your "vaccins". Not every child with autism is caused by that, or really by any known cause as of today. The only way to extend kindness is to offer it yourself, and attacking me is not a good example of it. You're an angry upset person and one day I hope you find the autism answers you're looking for, but attacking others wont get you there, nor me.

Parents experieces is nothing more than that. If anything it's emotional science ever changing with sites like GR and McCarthy who changes their story right and left.
And that's what it's all about, you nailed it Mal; blame and suing.
When they find out otherwise, you think those emotional science people will apologize?

Are you telling me that a crime should go unpunnished?
If thimerisol is safe and neccessary, then, why is it not given a a Thimerisol vaccine all on it's own?
Iggnorance is Bliss, it seems.

It would only be a crime if one new there would be certain harm to the majority of the population. Since Thimerosal has been used since the 1930's, there is plenty evidence the majority of the population it is safe and besides that, once Thimerosal for sure was no longer in vaccines at 2002, those autism rates never decreased. They continued to climb. That's not ignorance, it's reality you cant seem to accept. Thimerosal isn't it, maybe for a small tiny subset if that. You might be able to convince a few, but the majority is way past it and onto real answers.
