Trying to inhale: Asthma sufferers say CFC-free inhalers aren't as effective

Months after a federal ban went into effect outlawing a propellant used in most rescue inhalers, some asthma sufferers insist that the replacement inhalers don't work and might even be harmful.

they dont work as great. i seldomly use my inhaler but when i used the proair i could tell the difference. my boyfriend is going through them like they are candy and not getting relief. ontop of all this, my insurance doesnt cover much of the cost and he has none!

They cause severe broncospasm in some patients(myself), nausea, chest pain, rash resembling burns-they do not work for some of us and yes, I've tried them all now!!!! The HFA formulation is very inferior sold at a great cost-the heath of many asthmatics is put at risk everyday!!!! Michelle google, Save CFC inhalers and join us in the fight to breathe!!
