What a joke and a shame! I"d like to see these politicians (read bastards) try and get by treating other RIGHTS like they treat our Second Amendment RIGHTS. The Supreme Court needs to issue a clearer opnion.

Two solutions to murders and repeat offenders....1-Put that Arizona sheriff in charge of all U.S. prisons. 2-Send them to God for judgement, he has a place for those who pray on others. Diging holes is cheaper than prisons. Guns would cease to be a problem as would crime. Criminals seem to have more rights than honest citizens. Firearms are still the best self defense available, when properly trained.

Now watch how Crime will continue to go down. It had gotton worser, at one point in time. Cause the Citizens of this City had felt discriminated against. And Criminals were esculating violence on purpose. Cause they can get guns, anytime they want, and they were letting it be known that they can get them. When they think about the female members of their families, who would rather own a Gun Legally, and with the Self Defense Rule, where they can defend themselves, in case of an intruder attack, just like in any other part of the United States.
And what makes it so bad. If DC couldn't have Gun Rights. Then what was the reason for stripping the City of the Self Defense Law. Thats triffling as I don't know what. Somebody invades your home, and the only thing you can do is call the Police. You think that is likely to happen, without getting hurt. If the Intruder is right there in front of your face. Now explain the reason for that. You can't even defend yourself with your own hands or a knife. Or you'll go right straight to jail, for Assault or Murder, with the no Self Defense Law. I see why Lorton was so overcrowded. Innocent people were in jail, along with the common Criminals, for defending themselves, in event of street Robberies, etc. And when you defend yourself, you go to jail for Assault or Murder, you call that Law. Thats why I know its something else behind that Gun Ban. It was Discrimination, thats what it was. You DC Politicians, better wp.Now watch how Crime goes down. The Citizens have no reason to feel discriminated against no more. |

Adrian Fenty is an coated piece of trash, that feeds into the discrimination of this City. He should've been Ray Hagin's brother. As much as they look alike.

To all-
Go to G.O.A.(Gun Owners of America .com )look around and sign up if you wish. You will be enabled to send faxes to your local Reps., either via fax or telephone through their action buffet. You can donate if you wish as well although it is not mandatory in order to send a fax. There are several faxes worth sending today if you can. What the heck send them all! Just thought I would let you all know. It’s well worth the cause. Ciao! |

After reading the article....It seems they are going to make it very hard to own a hand gun, and nearly impossible to use it in the event you really needed to in a hurry.....Why bother owning one at all with all of those ridiculous rules? The article states that the new "emergency rules" (why do they need “emergency rules” for law abiding citizens to own a gun) would likely spur another lawsuit...Duh...And they also believe that are standing on good ground to be able to defend against the lawsuit...I don't think so!...They will waste yet more money and lose in the end...I'm glad I don't live there...I'm able to own multiple handguns (including semi auto) with minimal rules......What a bunch of liberals you must have running D.C………An example needs to be made of the elected officials in D.C. so the rest of these states with guns laws against law abiding citizens will know what NOT to do………

None of that will end until the people WANT it to end. Remember: You can't FORCE people to be free. Rather, they MUST WANT to be free, and be WILLING TO FIGHT for the freedom. Without the willingness, there is no cause. |
That's the point of most gun control laws; since they can't ban them, make it as difficult and expensive (both in time and dollars) as possible to obtain them. That is what happened with the NFA act of 1934. The government made it all but imposible for the average citizen (the ones the Bill Of Rights are suppose to protect) to obtain NFA firearms. They did this with a $200.00 tax, regristration requirements, background checks, fingerprint requirements, excessive waiting period etc. What if these political hacks tried this with the other RIGHTS mentioned in the Bill Of Rights. Would we as a people stand for it? I don't think so. |
