The Royal and Ancient Golf Club in St Andrews and the United States Golf Association have moved to outlaw the use of anchored putting strokes from 2016.
No Tour player will be affected more by the anchored putting ban than Tim Clark
Clark, who discovered as a child that he had no supination in his forearms, has always used a long putter, which he anchors against his chest.
