This United States Open still looks like the United States Wide Open. It also appears likely that whoever wins it on Sunday is going to have to beat Phil Mickelson to do it.

On Thursday morning, the first day of the tournament, the first group to start on the 11th hole was Phil Mickelson, Keegan Bradley and Steve Stricker.

Because of his youthful looks and late career revival, it may be difficult to believe that Steve Sticker is already 46 years old.
