Webb narrowly miss out as Kim claims Evian Championship

Australian veteran Karrie Webb has come agonisingly close to winning her eighth career major, finishing one stroke behind Hyo-Joo Kim at the Evian Championship in France. In a dramatic finale on Monday , the South Korean teenager upstaged the experienced Webb, holding her nerve to sink a 15-foot birdie putt at the 18th.

Lincicome fires 6-under 65 to take Evian lead

American Brittany Lincicome shot a bogey-free 6-under par 65 to take a one-shot lead after the second round of the Evian Championship in Evian-les-Bains, France. Lincicome is at 10-under, one shot ahead of Hyo-Joo Kim, the 19-year-old South Korean who followed up her record-breaking 61 on Thursday with a 1-over 72 in the second round after bogeying the final two holes.

Hyo-Joo Kim fires 61 to lead Evian

Evian-les-Bains, France - Hyo-Joo Kim fired a course- record, 10-under 61 on Thursday and grabbed a 4-stroke lead after the opening round of the Evian Championship. Kim's 61 bettered the old course record at Evian Resort Golf Club by two strokes.
