It took the pros to cool off Peter Uihlein. The New Bedford native, who cruised to a win in last week's Northeast Amateur, faded a bit in the last two rounds and ended up tying for 70th at the PGA Tour's AT&T National.
They've been playing the Northeast Amateur for 50 years now, and nobody has produced a winning score lower than what Peter Uihlein threw at Wannamoisett Country Club Saturday.
