IAN Poulter woke up ill yesterday morning, sick enough to be vomiting. But the Englishman is made of bulldog stuff; he carved his way around Victoria in three-under-par 68 in hot conditions to retain the lead in the Australian Masters.

At the completion of round two of the NSW PGA Championship it is tight at the top of the leaderboard with Brent McCullough, James McLean and Martin Dive all tied on 9-under at the Wollongong Golf Club.

Brent McCullough fired a six under 64 to be among three leaders heading into Sunday's final round in the NSW PGA Championship at Wollongong Golf Club.
