In what is believed to be a first in state golf lore, Farragut senior Stuart Thomas went overtime Wednesday to claim his second championship under almost identical circumstances.

Fifteen-year-old Ben Wolcott fared well in his Tennessee State Open debut. The son of former PGA Tour player Bob Wolcott, a rising junior at Dickson County High School was in the final pairing in the last round, which included highly decorated amateur Tim Jackson from Germantown and the winner, University of Memphis golfer Jonathan Fly.
